A set of three early 1960's bowls made out of Armetale, a metal developed using pewter but created to meet FDA requirements to be food safe. Armetale got it's name from  combining the words 'art' and 'metal' and was developed by Wilton of the Wilton Brass Company. Wilton strove to create Armetale pieces according to artistic proportions. I'm always looking for small bowls and use them for lots of things, holding shells and rocks, snacks like chocolate dusted almonds to keep my portions at least close to a serving size :)
