Made entirely by hand, these hand hammered solid brass serving ladles were made in 1960's Shanghai and shipped to San Francisco for the Chinese market. There are no "made in China" markings on them because they were not meant for the American market nor sold to the burgeoning tourist trade. The bowls of the ladles are very generously sized yet not exceedingly deep, perfect for soups, sauces, vegetables, etc.
The sizes vary slightly due to their handmade nature but the bowls are oval in shape and generally 4"x 3 1/2" while the handles are 7" long. They are sold individually and you may choose the style of handle you prefer or get one of each.
