Circa early 1900's solid brass clips made in France. Originally used as curtain clips both for linens hung in the windows and beneath a countertop in the kitchen to hide open cupboards and supplies. I use them to clip papers together in the ToDo pile or bills. Somehow these things seem less serious and onerous with these clips attached.
Large measures about 1 1/2", medium 1", small 1/2"
