Interlocking cards design game first made popular by Charles and Ray Eames' House of Cards in 1952, created also to be built as a design object reflective of their playful approach to furniture and architecture. It became an iconic mid-century object bridging modernist aesthetics with a childlike sense of play.
There a 16 different configurations that can be built outlined in the information sheet that comes along with it. The tower I built sits on a windowsill in my studio to encourage the playful creative spirit so prized by the Eames.
