This is a vintage Parker's Pine hemlock circular cutting board for cheeses and pâte. Located in Bradford, Maine, this family owned sawmill has making useful items using locally sourced hemlock and spruce pine as well as specialty milled wood for discerning builders and makers throughout New England for many years.
This piece is made from end cut hemlock and, being a vintage piece, the wood is heavier and denser than newer cut wood. It has a beautiful seasoned patina. Size is 7 inches around by 1 1/2 inches thick.
